How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Charlotte? (2026 Prices)

House cleaning supplies caddy in a bright Charlotte living room

In Charlotte, a standard house cleaning with me starts at $105 per visit and runs up to about $190 depending on your home’s size and how often I come. A deeper first-time clean or a move-out clean costs more because it resets the whole home. Every price is an estimate I confirm with you before I start — no surprises.

My standard cleaning prices

Standard cleaning is my recurring “keep it fresh” service — the visit that resets a home already in decent shape. The per-visit price depends on your home’s size and how often I come (weekly is the lowest per-visit rate, monthly the highest). Here is the range, per visit:

  • Studio / 1 bedroom: $105–$125
  • 2 bedroom: $105–$135
  • 3 bedroom: $125–$160
  • 4 bedroom: $150–$190

Every clean includes one full bathroom. Each additional full bath adds $20 on a Standard clean (more on first-time and move-out cleans), and half baths are included at no extra charge. Homes with five or more bedrooms get a custom quote — just reach out and I will put real numbers together. You can see all of this on my pricing page, or get an instant estimate with the estimate calculator.

What actually changes the price

Four things move the number, and none of them are a mystery.

Home size

More bedrooms and bathrooms mean more square footage and more time on my feet. That is the biggest single factor, which is why the tiers above are built around bedroom count.

First-time vs recurring

A first visit almost always takes longer than the visits that follow, because I am catching up on everything at once. My standard clean is the maintenance price; the first-time clean below is the catch-up price.

Move-out cleaning

Empty homes get scrutinized by landlords, buyers, and property managers, so a move-out clean is the most thorough tier I offer.

Add-ons and bathrooms

Optional extras and additional full bathrooms only add to the price if you actually need them. Nothing gets tacked on without you choosing it.

First-time and move-out pricing

The first-time clean is a deeper reset that adds baseboards, inside the oven, degreasing, the range hood, and cabinet fronts on top of a standard clean. By the same size tiers it runs $150 / $155 / $190 / $240. New clients start here.

A move-out clean is my most detailed service, priced $210 / $230 / $290 / $360 by size. It is built for the day a home has to look empty and spotless for the next person.

Add-ons and extras

  • Inside fridge — $35
  • Inside oven — $35
  • Kitchen cabinet exteriors — $30
  • Laundry & fold — $20 per load
  • Pet-hair treatment — $25
  • Porch / patio — $20
  • Extra full bathroom — from $20 · half bathroom — included free

If a room needs extra attention, my kitchen and bathroom add-ons cover the deep detail on top of the regular clean.

How recurring keeps your price down

Because a home I visit regularly never falls too far behind, each visit is quicker — so the more often I come, the lower the per-visit price. Weekly has the best per-visit rate, then bi-weekly (where most Charlotte families settle), then monthly. There is no separate percentage discount; the rate is simply built into each option. New clients start with a first-time clean, and your recurring rate is confirmed after that first visit, once I have seen the home.

One honest note: I am a solo, owner-operated cleaner, so the same person — me — shows up every single time. That is part of what keeps the pricing simple and the result consistent, visit after visit.

No hidden fees, ever

The prices above are the whole story. I do not add travel fees, booking fees, or “supply” charges — I bring my own eco-friendly, kid- and pet-safe products, and that is already built into the rate. Because I am background-checked, you always know exactly who is in your home — at no extra charge. The only things that move your total are the ones you choose: home size, first-time versus recurring, a move-out, extra bathrooms, or an add-on. I also photograph every clean before and after and flag any pre-existing damage before I start, so there is never a mystery line item after the fact.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a standard house cleaning cost in Charlotte?

Standard cleaning starts at $105 per visit. The exact per-visit price depends on home size and how often I come — roughly $105–$125 for a studio or one-bedroom, $105–$135 for a two-bedroom, $125–$160 for a three-bedroom, and $150–$190 for a four-bedroom. One full bathroom is included.

Do you charge a flat rate or by the hour?

Flat rate, quoted upfront. You will know the full price before I start, with no hourly surprises at the end.

Why does the first clean cost more than the recurring price?

The first visit is a deeper reset that adds baseboards, inside the oven, and kitchen degreasing, so it takes longer than the maintenance visits that follow.

Can I get a price for a home with five or more bedrooms?

Yes. Larger homes get a custom quote, so contact me with the details and I will put together real numbers for your place.
